Job Description Our organization is actively looking for full-time OB/GYN physicians to become part of the esteemed Samaritan OB/GYN team located in New York's Capital Region. This role presents a fantastic chance to engage in comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology within a supportive, physician-friendly atmosphere, backed by robust system resources and a steady demand for patient care.Position Overview:Full-time, hospital-employed OB/GYN physician role.Flexible Outpatient Practice Locations: You can choose to provide outpatient services at either our Latham or Troy offices. The Troy office is conveniently situated next to Burdett Birth Center, while the Latham site boasts a brand-new, state-of-the-art clinical environment.Equitable call schedule with shared rotation, averaging about one week per month.Deliveries will take place at Burdett Birth Center, with the option to handle high-risk deliveries at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.Key Opportunities:Advanced Surgical Technology: Utilize Da Vinci robotic surgery for minimally invasive gynecological procedures.Collaborative Care Model: Join a collegial and supportive environment alongside the Capital Region Midwifery Group, promoting team-based care and exceptional patient outcomes.Specialty Support: Access to the SPHP Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) team for expert consultation and assistance in managing high-risk obstetric patients.Qualifications:Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.Desire to practice a balanced mix of obstetrics and gynecology, including surgical care.Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills.Team-oriented approach with a dedication to high-quality, patient-centered care.New graduates and recent residents are encouraged to apply.Compensation Package:For providers with less than 5 years of experience:Starting salary ranging from $350,000 to $380,000 based on experience, with opportunities for additional earnings through productivity.Sign-on Bonus: $50,000.Retention Bonus: $25,000 at the start of year 2.Retention Bonus: $25,000 at the start of year 3.Resident compensation available – up to $50,000 per year for early sign-on.For providers with more than 5 years of experience:Starting salary of $400,000 with potential for additional earnings through productivity.Sign-on Bonus: $25,000.Retention Bonus: $25,000 at the start of year 2.Retention Bonus: $25,000 at the start of year 3.The stated salary reflects the initial range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other forms of cash compensation relevant to the role. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer.
