This position works directly from diagrams, drawings, and written instructions to assemble mechanical systems accurately and efficiently in a production or shop environment.Job ResponsibilitiesRead and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and bills of materials to complete buildsAssemble mechanical components including frames, enclosures, brackets, and hardwareInstall and connect components such as motors, valves, actuators, and fastenersRoute and connect tubing, hoses, and fluid handling components as directedUse hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely and correctlyIdentify missing parts, unclear instructions, or assembly issues and communicate them promptlyMaintain a clean and organized work area throughout the assembly processParticipate in quality checks and verification steps before product completionSupport disassembly and reassembly when required for shipping or installationFollow all safety guidelines and personal protective equipment requirementsMinimum QualificationsDemonstrated ability to read and follow written assembly instructions and diagramsPrior experience assembling mechanical products, equipment, or similar items (grills, furniture, machinery, etc.)Comfortable using basic hand tools and power toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processesReliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a teamPhysical DemandsAbility to lift and move up to 50 lbs independentlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periodsAbility to climb ladders and work at heights when requiredAbility to work around large industrial equipment and machineryAbility to perform repetitive tasks such as fastening, fitting, and tool useAbility to read instructions, labels, and diagrams (with or without corrective lenses)Ability to work in manufacturing and warehouse environments with varying conditionsEqual Opportunity EmployerOur client is committed to compliance with all applicable state and federal laws prohibiting employment discrimination.
