Data EngineerProject: This area is basically a startup company within OptumRX. Optum frontier therapies (specialty pharmacy) in Vegas and Flint. They are for rare diseases for patients. Don't need to be Optum members. They do prescriptions as well as wholesale prescriptions. Launched 2 main drugs with manufacturers. White glove service due to the small amount of people. Bringing this person on because they need to be able to scale. Built a foundation of their data structure/strategy in Azure cloud. Data comes in from 3 vendors so they can make sense of all the data. Main focus of the team: when they contract with manufacturers, provide them with extracts/reports (data dumps). Provide them inventory extracts (daily, weekly, etc.) depends on what the manufacturers want.D2D:Part of scrum team. Develop/automation of reports that are sent to end client.Jenkins, Github, Synaps database, Databricks, PowerBI, ETL Development (make modifications), PythonWrite code to develop and automateComplex PBM data – Inventory, shipping, transportation, etc.Data going out in CSV fileWon't be building dashboardsBuild data pipelinesWill be implementing Kafka and rolling out AI/MLTop skills:Need mid-senior level Data Engineer resource.
