We are known for our craftsmanship, organization, and strong team culture.We don’t just hire upholsterers—we build careers for people who want to grow, earn well, and take pride in their work.What You’ll DoFull frame-up upholstery, including:Webbing, spring work (8-way hand-tied, sinuous, coil)Foam build-up and paddingPrecision fabric cutting, sewing, and applicationWork on a wide range of pieces:Sofas, sectionals, and lounge seatingDining chairs, barstools, and accent piecesCustom and commercial projectsExecute clean, consistent work based on detailed work ordersCollaborate with our prep, design, and production teamsWhat Makes This Role DifferentAt Finish Pros, you are not running a business—you are mastering your craft.No sourcing clientsNo quoting or invoicingNo chasing materials or paymentsNo stripping or heavy prep workYou walk in, your project is prepped, materials are ready, and you get to work.Compensation & BenefitsPiece-rate pay structure with published rates (you know what each job pays upfront)Typical earnings: $68,000 – $80,000/yearTop performers: $80,000 – $90,000+Consistent 40-hour work week with steady year-round workBenefits Include:Healthcare contribution (QSEHRA) 11 paid holidays (including Christmas–New Year closure)2 weeks paid vacation after 90 daysUnpaid flex time when neededAll tools, equipment, and supplies providedThis structure is designed to outperform independent work in both income stability and quality of lifeWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of furniture upholstery experience (not auto or marine)Strong frame-up skills including:Spring systems and structural workFoam and padding techniquesPattern matching and sewingExperience working with fabric, vinyl, and leatherDetail-oriented with pride in craftsmanshipReliable, steady, and team-focusedHave experience with tufting, channel backs, or complex buildsHave worked in a high-end or design-driven shopPrefer focusing on production rather than managing clientsWhat This Is NotNot a 1099 or freelance roleNot a “bring your own customers” setupNot a beginner positionThis is a long-term W-2 career opportunity for skilled upholsterers who want consistency, respect, and strong earning potential.
