Position Overview: Location: Near Palmer, AKStart Date: ASAPEnd Date: OngoingCoverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus CallEMR System: Epic Practice Details: Practice Setting: The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring a diverse and fulfilling experience.Shifts and Coverage:Clinic Coverage: Two weeks per month of clinic coverage.Call Coverage:Onsite: 4 weeks per month of hospital call coverage with night call during the week and 24-hour weekend call.Virtual: For the other two weeks, 24-hour virtual call coverage.Patient Load: Average of 12 patients per shift.Holidays: Coverage required for major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Pediatric Neurology.Certifications: BLS and PALS certifications required.Privileges: Hospital and surgery center privileges required; however, temporary privileges are not available.Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 90-145 days.Licensing: No reimbursement for licensing costs.
