Site Support Division Chief

Resumes must be in DD/MMM/YYYY format.Duties include but are not limited to: Division chief that leads/manages site operations and security, logistics and munitions management, computing/information technology support, facility planning and base civil engineering support, rocket test support, business development, site-wide functional support planning and support operations, and division administration. Leads site support interactions with host base and parent Space Warfare Directorate leadership. Collaborates with mission partners to ensure support of all RDT&E operations. Ensures division emergency management processes in place and properly staffed. Second-level supervisor overseeing government civilian personnel, and manages contractors supporting division functions. Analyzes, evaluates and potentially re-engineers business processes across the Space Warfare Directorate (RJ). Represents the Directorate and Division to other directorates, Air Force Organizations, DOD organizations and national and international organizations. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations, directives and standards. Other Significant Facts: Occasional travel may be required for the position. Telework options may be possible. Ability to obtain and maintain required Top Secret security clearance. Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the DO/DR-03 pay band (GS-14 or equivalent). Desired Qualifications Specialized experience includes experience in communicating complex processes to senior leaders and staff, gathering and analyzing data/information, developing alternatives to promote efficiency/effectiveness, complying with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. Support contract acquisition and management, program/project management, financial management, planning and organizing work to meet deadlines and ensure future capabilities are met.5+ years and demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and advising senior leaders. 5+ years experience supervising military and government civilian personnel. 5+ years experience leading support teams. Operations and safety experience (engagement with systems, flight, weapons, and/or ground/occupational safety and disciplines). Experience with Continuous Process Improvement techniques and change management. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
