Sr. AWS Engineer

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure and software development, with hands-on experience in various technologies. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives. Responsibilities Design and implement infrastructure solutions using Terraform for automation and management of cloud resources. Develop and maintain scripts using Shell Scripting to automate processes and improve efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs and RESTful services into existing systems. Manage virtualization environments to optimize resource allocation and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to UNIX systems, ensuring high availability and reliability. Utilize PL/SQL for database management tasks, including writing queries and optimizing performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development using Node.js. Document processes, system configurations, and technical specifications for future reference. Experience Proven experience with Terraform, UNIX, Shell Scripting, virtualization technologies, and IT infrastructure management. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and their integration into applications is highly desirable. Proficiency in PL/SQL for database interactions is preferred. Experience with Node.js for backend development is a plus. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
