Job Description The CNC Machinist /Programmer (Swiss style lathes/lathes and mills) is responsible for the development, maintenance and optimization of new and existing CNC Swiss Lathe programs.Our machines (Tsugami and Ganesh) use Mitsubishi and FANUC controls.Duties:Develop programs for new products or prototypesProvide floor support for the programs, as well as continuous improvement of existing production programsSet up and prove out new programsTrain operators and setup personnel on new programs once proved outDevelop operational methods, work instructions, operating drawings, and documentationAssist with setting up and managing results of tool life programRequirements: Four-plus years of proven hands-on programming experienceExperience with MasterCam, or other cam softwareExperience with FANUC & Mitsubishi controlsExperience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is preferred, but not requiredAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to read prints and drawingsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to read and manipulate G-CodeSWISS: 3 years (Preferred)Experience with multi-axis mill turns is preferred, but not requiredBenefits offered:Paid time offRetirement benefits or accounts401(k) with matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceRetirement planVision insuranceCompany DescriptionWith a reputation for precision manufacturing and dependable delivery, the company received increasing demand to produce private-label firearms components alongside its proprietary product offerings.
