HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million in programs to support our incredible team members over the course of three years.Job Summary And QualificationsThe Lead Physical Therapist manages the day-to-day workflow to assist Therapists in restoring function and preventing disability following disease, injury, surgery or loss of a body part in order to allow the patient to perform to his/her maximum ability.What you will do in this role:Manage and modifies daily therapist schedules, as dictated by caseload need and productivityComplete daily charge reconciliation Attend multi-disciplinary rounds when Director/Manager are unable toRepresent Rehab on DESSO, attending quarterly meetings and completing quarterly environmental roundsCollaborate with Director on identifying and tracking Rehab Performance Improvement plansServe as a standing member on the peer interview panel for all PT, OT, and Speech candidatesTeache Rehab-led education in New Employee OrientationParticipate in hospital-wide skills fairs as neededCollaborate with Case Management on patient discharge needsProvide medically prescribed physical therapy in the hospital settingEnsure services are provided in accordance with National standards and hospital policyProvide timely documentation in order to facilitate inpatient dischargeDemonstrate working knowledge of AIDET, utilizing with each patient interaction Regular, reliable attendance is required to ensure the highest level of patient careFollow hospital safety and quality standards and expectations, as it pertains to job performance and patient careBehavior demonstrates understanding and adherence to Menorah Medical Center’s ALWAYS valuesOther duties as assigned What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date(LPT) Licensed Physical TherapistBachelors Degree, or Masters Degree, or Doctorate Degree in Physical TherapyNo Travel RequiredNo experience Required Years of ExperienceBenefitsMenorah Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
