IT Operations Manager

Position Title: IT Operations ManagerLocation: Onsite | San Francisco, CACompensation: $190,000 - $230,000Employment Type: Full-timePosition SummaryA mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking an experienced IT Operations Leader to manage day-to-day IT service delivery and operational performance across the enterprise. This role will guide a small internal technical team and coordinate with multiple vendor partners responsible for supporting the organization's core technology platforms.The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader who excels at maintaining reliable IT operations, improving service management processes, and ensuring high system availability across critical business systems. This individual will focus on operational excellence, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration while helping scale and strengthen the organization's IT service capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day IT operations and service delivery across enterprise systems, networks, and end-user environmentsManage and develop a small internal technical team while coordinating with external vendors and service partnersOversee vendor performance, contracts, and SLAs to ensure reliable service deliveryMonitor system performance and availability while driving operational improvementsLead incident, change, and problem management processes to maintain high system uptimeCollaborate with cross-functional leadership to support technology initiatives and infrastructure needsDevelop and track key operational metrics related to system performance, incidents, and service qualitySupport disaster recovery planning and business continuity initiativesPartner with security teams to maintain strong infrastructure and data protection standardsManage multiple operational and infrastructure projects while maintaining service stabilityQualifications5+ years of IT operations or infrastructure leadership experience required; 10+ years preferred for Director levelStrong experience managing Microsoft environments including Active Directory and Microsoft 365Background supporting enterprise infrastructure including networking, servers, endpoint management, and cloud servicesFamiliarity with enterprise technologies such as VoIP, VDI, VPN, and modern networking environments Experience working with vendors and managing enterprise technology service providersStrong project management and cross-functional communication skillsWorking knowledge of information security and enterprise infrastructure best practicesITIL or IT service management framework experience strongly preferredSalary & BenefitsBase salary: $190,000 -$230,000Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement savings planPaid time off and holidaysOpportunity to lead IT operations within a mission-driven healthcare organizationLong-term leadership and career development opportunitiesJ-18808-Ljbffr
