Speech and Language Pathologist in Stuart, FL

A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Clinical Fellowship Year Speech-Language Pathologists (CFY) to provide services in schools along the Southeast Florida Coast, specifically in Stuart, FL. This role offers both full-time and part-time positions, with assignments spanning one to two schools based on need.Key Responsibilities:Conduct evaluations, with an emphasis on assisting the district in catching up on assessments.Complete evaluations for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, requiring experience in this area.Collaborate with onsite teams, including SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).Provide services across various grade levels, including K-8 and K-7 settings, with specialized units such as DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) clusters and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) units.Location and Schedule Details:Oak Hammock K-8 (Port St. Lucie, FL): 2 days per week, with one full-time SLP and one full-time SLPA onsite.CA Moore K-7 and FK Sweet Elementary (Ft. Pierce, FL): Full-time schedule across both schools or part-time split; CA Moore does not have self-contained units, while FK Sweet includes an ASD unit.Qualifications:Active Speech-Language Pathology licensure is required.Experience completing evaluations for Autism students is essential.Fingerprints clearance required, with potential to leverage Department of Health records.Compensation is competitive, with pay rates varying based on experience and school experience.This is an onsite contract role starting immediately through early June 2026.
