Line Cook

Diner, the pioneering farm-to-table restaurant in Brooklyn, seeks a full time Line Cook with restaurant experience. Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to both quality and timing standards. Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe workstation throughout service. Follow allergy protocols and modify dishes at the direction of the chefs. Avoid cross contamination by adhering to preparation standards set by the BOH management team. Label, stock, and organize inventory. Break down stations fully. Clean and sanitize workstation prior to departing the shift. Successful candidates will: Have 2+ years of professional cooking experience with excellent production skills Bring detail and care to their work Be reliable, focused, organized, communicative, and curious Be able to self-manage as well as be managed An interest in working in various capacities towards meeting the goals of the team and the business.
