Data Systems Analyst

Overview In this role you design, build, and maintain data integrations and enterprise systems to support law firm operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and timely data delivery across critical platforms. You will drive integration projects, optimize performance, and implement governance and disaster recovery measures. This is an opportunity to shape how the firm connects systems and data at scale while working in a collaborative, performance‑driven IT environment. ResponsibilitiesProvide 24x7 support for client and user‑facing products with focus on data quality and reliabilityMap and transform legal practice data for downstream processes and analyticsDesign and build custom data integrations using Intapp Integrate and Intapp APIsIntegrate with core enterprise systems (AD/Azure AD, HRIS, DMS, CRM, ERP, matter management, billing/time, data warehouse)Develop and execute SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshootingSupport automation and custom connector development with scripting (PowerShell, Python, C#)Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core business applications and optimize configurationsCollaborate with stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and objectivesDocument requirements, data mappings, diagrams, and process flowsTranslate technical specs to non-technical requirementsManage system setup, configuration, and environment prepCoordinate testing activities and QA oversightCreate and maintain documentation for processes and workflowsImplement maintenance routines and monitor system performanceDesign and upgrade information systems to meet evolving needsPerform performance tuning of integrationsInstall, upgrade, and administer integration platforms and componentsDiagnose and troubleshoot integration and system issuesBuild and manage reports, dashboards, and visualizationsAutomate recurring tasks to improve efficiencyDevelop governance policies and standards for system managementCreate backup and recovery strategiesMonitor integration performance and recommend improvementsEnsure system security, integrity, and availability including DR planning Key requirements3–5+ years in enterprise-grade system integrationsProficient in SQL with joins and basic performance tuningStrong background in integration delivery and operational supportDeep understanding of REST APIs, authentication (OAuth2, API keys), and webhooksExperience with JSON/XML, data mapping, transformations, and schema validationKnowledge of core data‑integration concepts: error handling, queues, monitoring, schedulingExperience supporting production integrations with SLAs, incident response, and problem managementAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsKnowledge of application setup principles and best practicesHands-on experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, and deploying applicationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAdvanced SQL and SQL Server toolingDB security, backup/recovery, and performance monitoringFamiliarity with relational and dimensional data modelingScripting skills in PowerShell and Unix shellExposure to SSAS, SSIS, SSRSExcellent written and verbal communication skillsattention to detailstrong communicationproblem-solvingIntapp IntegrateREST APIsOAuth2
