We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and organized In-Home Caregivers to join our growing team at Village Caregiving!Personal Care Assistant BENEFITS:Hourly Wage starting at $18 - $22Daily Pay optionFlexible schedule401k EligibilityReferral programPaid trainingPersonal Care Assistant RESPONSIBILITIES:Remind clients to take prescribed medicationAssist clients with personal care and hygieneHelp clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercisesDo the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if neededPerform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing mealsCollect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family membersReport any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family membersAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyPersonal Care Assistant REQUIREMENTS:Previous caregiver experience or CNA licenseCurrent CPR (American Heart Association) Certification (must obtain within 30 days of hire)Willingness to adhere to health and safety standardsKnowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraintsMust be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside mannerOutstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skillsPhysical endurance to complete required tasksHigh school diploma or equivalent
