Senior Golang Engineer (Trading Infrastructure)How would you like to put your Golang expertise to work building the core infrastructure for the next generation of sports trading?A fast-growing fintech startup with $100m in funding is creating a high-performance, developer-centric platform for sports trading. The company is looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to design and scale the backend systems that power its real-time trading platform.This role focuses on building low-latency, high-throughput services for market data distribution, order execution, risk management, and algorithmic trading integrations. You will design and evolve robust public and private APIs, architect scalable distributed systems, and create infrastructure that delivers both exceptional performance and a first-class developer experience for trading firms and algo traders.You will work on cloud-native services, optimise for concurrency and reliability under heavy load, and ensure tight integration between trading logic, real-time data feeds, and risk systems. Close collaboration with quant and product teams will be essential to ship high-impact features quickly and reliably.The ideal candidate has strong production experience with Golang, a deep understanding of concurrency patterns, and a proven track record building high-performance distributed systems. Experience designing developer-first APIs, working with cloud infrastructure, and delivering low-latency solutions is highly valued.
