Babysitter PositionKillingly Public Schools is seeking responsible and caring babysitters to support parents attending our Adult Education Programs. Babysitters will provide supervision and basic care for infants, toddlers, or children while parents participate in class. Parents will remain onsite and must be available if needed for diapering, illness, or behavior concerns.Position Type: Part-time (12 hours per week)Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.Pay Rate: $17.45 per hourLocation: 79 Westfield Road, Killingly CT 06239Positions Available: 2Responsibilities:Supervise infants, toddlers, and children in a safe, caring, and age-appropriate manner.Engage children with play, stories, or simple activities during parent classes.Communicate promptly with parents if a child needs attention beyond what a babysitter provides.Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming child-friendly space.Follow all program guidelines for child supervision.Qualifications:Must be 18 years or older to apply.Experience caring for infants and toddlers required.CPR certification preferred (training available if not currently certified).Reliable, responsible, and able to work scheduled hours consistently.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
