Senior Full-Stack Developer

About the CompanyWe are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our Creative Technology team at our leading brand creative agency. This role combines hands-on development and application architecture to build and maintain modern digital experiences that power marketing campaigns and enterprise solutions.About the RoleYou will work closely with both cross-functional Creative Technology teams and fellow developers to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions across a range of digital projects. The role emphasizes collaboration, shared problem-solving, and contributing to technical best practices within a team culture where developers support and learn from one another. This role reports to the Director of Development.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and services using modern JavaScript technologies (React, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, NestJS), Python (Flask), and .NET (C#).Design, optimize, and maintain relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases, ensuring strong performance, scalability, and data integrity.Participate in peer code reviews and technical collaboration while supporting best practices around application development and security.Build and support scalable application architecture and backend systems for marketing platforms and enterprise tools.Collaborate with designers, strategists, and digital producers to create interactive, data-driven digital experiences.Support cloud-based application deployments and development workflows across platforms such as AWS (this is a priority), Azure, or GCP, where familiarity with Terraform is considered a plus.Contribute to CI/CD workflows and infrastructure improvements in collaboration with the broader development team.Partner with our parent company SecOps team to support security best practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.Familiarity with backend infrastructure maintenance, Linux-based environments, and system troubleshooting is a plus.Qualifications5+ years of full-stack development experience with modern stacks (JavaScript, React, Node.js, .NET, C#, relational/NoSQL databases).Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.Strong experience building scalable web applications, APIs, and backend systems.Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (high priority), Azure, or GCP and modern development workflows.Understanding of CI/CD processes, application deployment workflows, and modern software development practices.Experience with software architecture, code reviews, and scalable application design.Working knowledge of authentication and security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, SAML, and secure cloud applications.Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and API development patterns (GraphQL, REST).Exposure to Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform is a plus.Interest in exploring and adopting emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and marketing automation.Required SkillsExperience in MarTech, ad tech, or marketing automation platforms.Familiarity with serverless or edge-based architectures.Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful, Strapi, or Sanity.Pay range and compensation package$110,000-$115,000
