Reports to: IT ManagerFull-TimeSalary: $100k-$120k/yrHybrid (Minimum 3 days in office)Office Location: 860 Airport Freeway, Suite 301, Hurst, TX 76054Job SummaryThe System Administrator is a critical role responsible for the health, security, and operational efficiency of our technology ecosystem. This role balances cloud infrastructure management within Microsoft Azure with essential day-to-day IT operations, including hardware management and employee lifecycle support. The ideal candidate will be a technical generalist with a specialist’s depth in networking and cloud administration, ensuring our team has the tools they need to stay productive and secure.Core ResponsibilitiesAzure Cloud & Network AdministrationManage and optimize Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking resourcesDesign, implement, and troubleshoot network configurations, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and Network Security GroupsOversee the health of cloud services, track metrics, analyze logs, create and respond to system alertsImplement and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans, including backup verification and high-availability (HA) architecturesEmail AdministrationServe as the primary administrator for the core collaboration suite (M365)Manage user mailboxes, distribution lists, security groups, and mail flow settingsMaintain email security settings, including spam filtering and phishing protectionEmployee Lifecycle & Hardware ManagementLead the technical onboarding process: preparing laptops, configuring accounts, and conducting IT orientations for new hiresManage the full lifecycle of company assets, including inventory, provisioning, and maintenance of laptops (macOS and Windows), monitors, and peripheralsExecute secure offboarding by revoking system access, reclaiming assets, and ensuring data retention complianceTechnical SupportServe as the primary point of contact internally for technical support, resolving hardware and software issues promptlyDevelop and maintain internal documentation for common IT procedures and user self-service guidesRequired Skills And Experience3+ years in System Administration or IT Support in a corporate environmentProven experience managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft AzureStrong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network securityExperience administering M365Proficiency in troubleshooting and managing both macOS and Windows operating systemsPreferred QualificationsRelevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Azure Administrator AssociateExperience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash)Prior experience in a rapidly scaling organization with a focus on internal customer service excellencePowered by JazzHR8moGVOx5rv
