The position combines deep technical leadership with executive-level commercial influence, offering a pathway toward senior executive leadership and portfolio oversight.This role would suit a senior transmission strategy professional looking for ownership of major grid infrastructure initiatives, executive decision-making authority, and long-term progression into C-suite leadership.The RoleLead interregional transmission strategy including project ideation, congestion forecasting, and production cost analysisOversee ISO/RTO engagement, tariff positioning, and interconnection strategy across multiple marketsDirect market analytics (LMP, basis, FTRs, capacity expansion modeling) to support commercial and investment decisionsBuild and mentor a high-performing transmission strategy team, with long-term progression into broader portfolio leadershipThe Candidate10+ years’ experience in transmission planning, grid analytics, or energy market strategyDirect experience working with ISOs/RTOs (e.g., ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO, etc.) Strong technical capability in congestion analysis, production cost modeling, and interconnection strategyLeadership experience managing teams or strategic initiatives within the transmission or power markets sector
