Software Test Engineer Lead
DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Mentor less-experienced staff in their career and skills development. Communicate best practices with the Team.Writes and maintains test plans across the applicationHelp define, refine and articulate the testing solution required to support business initiatives and organizes processes across entire QA OrganizationOrganizes cross-team collaboration.Responsible for Test Plan documentation and ensures executionIdentifies gaps in skill-sets and product knowledge and provide or organize cross training accordinglyEvaluates and makes improvements to the development processImproves efficiencies and reduces costs through adherence and enhancements to project management methodologies, if established for the work teamRegularly gives guidance to less-experienced staff membersImplements project strategy.Provides input on implementing technical solutions and seeing the impact on strategic business goals.Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities5 - 7 years of experience in the software industry (QA and/or Development)5 - 7 years of experience using test case management and defect tracking solutions.5 - 7 years of experience performing white-box and black-box testing activities in multi-tier solutions.5 - 7 years of experience testing client facing software.5+ years of experience with TFS/VSTS/Azure DevOps.5 - 7 years of experience documenting defects, reproduction steps, RCA’s, and producing technical documentation.5 - 7 years of experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, QTP, Ruby, or Pearl).5 - 7 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues with internal or external customers.What We OfferOpen paid time offHybrid scheduleComprehensive healthcare and wellness programs100% company-paid volunteer time401k with a company matchPet InsuranceTuition/Continuing Education reimbursement programAt our core, Trintechers stand committed to fostering a culture rooted in our core values – Humble, Empowered, Reliable, and Open.
