General Interest Experienced Student Services Staff

Ivy Tech seeks qualified staff with experience in academic advising, financial aid, enrollment, career services, student life, and other core areas of student support to strengthen our services to the students of the Evansville, IN campus. Responsibilities Registration – Manage the essential registration function, administer creation and maintenance of all students' permanent academic/administrative records, assure integrity, security and access, and supervise issuance of official documents. Financial Aid – Provide general financial aid counseling to students, advise students and evaluate their eligibility for financial aid in accordance with federal and state guidelines, and be responsible for all aspects of verifying, packaging, awarding and disbursing financial aid and programs. Admissions & Enrollment – Provide campus enrollment management functions including student recruitment, admissions counseling, middle/high school relations, community relations, off-campus admissions procedures, and admission of resident and non-resident students. Career Coaching – Provide coaching services to assist students in completing their Career Development Portfolio, develop student skills at job interviewing, resume writing, and professional communication, and serve as a strategic partner in developing strategies and planning to assist students and employers with work-and-learn and placement and retention efforts. Disability Support – Ensure that persons with disabilities have access to opportunities available at the college, provide counseling support services, coordinate counseling services, and supervise tutoring services. Veterans Affairs – Provide services to students receiving G.I. Bill educational benefits and vocational rehabilitation benefits, coordinate services to students, and report enrollment and application information to the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Student Assistance Agency. Student Life – Provide a comprehensive Student Life program including student programming, student leadership development, student governance, student organizations, service engagement, recreation and wellness, and advocate for the needs of all students. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 years related experience in college student life, financial aid, or other higher education administration area. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. (Preferred) 3+ years related experience in college student life, financial aid, or other higher education administration area. (Preferred) Master's degree in student development, higher education administration or related field.
