Staff Scientist Antibody Discovery
The applicant will play a critical role within the Antibody Discovery group by performing essential functions to support the early-phase screening of antibody candidates. Responsibilities include protein QC using analytical methods, preparing normalized antibody stocks, and stamping these into assay plates using high-throughput liquid handling systems. Additionally, they will register these stocks in compound management system for biologics. The applicant is expected to maintain detailed electronic laboratory notebook records of ongoing activities and thrive in a highly collaborative environment, supporting multiple ongoing discovery efforts.Summary of the Essential Functions of the JobPerforming routine protein QC tasksUtilize high-throughput liquid handling systems to generate normalized plates of antibody stocks for use in early screening efforts.Manage antibody compound registry.Minimum RequirementsBS with 2 5 years of prior experience or MS with 1-4 years of prior experience.Strong background in protein biochemistry and cell biology.Experience using analytical lab equipment such as HPLC, cIEF and CE-SDS.Working knowledge of automation lab equipment.Excellent organizational and communication skillsKaztronix is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, disability, veteran status or any other consideration made unlawful by federal, state or local laws.
