In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily administrative functions, coordinate care delivery, and ensure compliance with healthcare and employment regulations based on company goals and objectives. Your leadership will drive efficiency, foster a positive work environment, and uphold the highest standards of patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients while managing a growing home care office with energy and professionalism.DutiesManage all aspects of office operations, including answering phones, scheduling caregivers to clients, creating and maintaining employee records, and documentation using AxisCare scheduling software.Recruit, hire, orient, and supervise care delivery team members to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery.Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and managed care organizations to facilitate patient care plans and authorization processes.Maintain records accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality in accordance with federal, state, and HIPAA regulations.Implement human resources practices related to staffing, training, performance evaluations, and employee development.Respond to on-call evening and weekend demands, as directed. Maintain on-call materials current with client information, instructions and directions, current roster of care and list of active direct care staff. Prepare and maintain the on-call log.Work independently and proactively with minimal direction and/or supervision.QualificationsProven experience in healthcare or home care office management.Ability to handle complex scheduling demands while maintaining attention to detail in documentation and compliance tasks.Ability to multitask and adapt to a dynamic work environment.Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success in managing teams within a healthcare office setting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Scheduling software is a plus.Strong communication and customer service skills (both spoken and written) paired with problem-solving abilities to support staff development and patient and family satisfaction.Knowledge of fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, billing procedures, and managed care processes is a plus.Must have reliable transportation.Join us as a Home Care Office Manager where your leadership fuels exceptional patient care experiences!
