The CMO will be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the hospital's clinical development plans, ensuring the highest standard of medical care for patients. This role involves leading and supporting the medical staff, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, compliance, and teamwork. The CMO will also be involved in the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinical policies, procedures, and standards, as well as the performance management of physicians and advanced practice providers. Collaboration with hospital administration and leadership is essential to enhance healthcare delivery and community health outcomes. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited medical school, with a preference for those holding a Masters of Health Administration (MHA) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Board certification in a relevant specialty is preferred, and a valid California medical license with no restrictions is required. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of clinical experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, and experience in a rural or underserved setting is highly desirable.
