Technical Analyst - Summer HelpJob Category: Business Technology/IT Requisition Number: TECHN001800Posted: February 10, 2026Full-Time On-site Corporate Headquarters Frisco, TX 75034, USADescriptionPosition Responsibilities:Maintains a thorough understanding of user needs from a business and technical perspectiveMaintains strong working knowledge of the company's technical systems to maximize system efficienciesMaintains strong working knowledge of departmental policies, processes, and best practicesWorks closely with Business Technology leadership, Product Owners, Product Analysts, Data Teams, and Development Teams to analyze, design, and develop solutionsUses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective waysWorks on complex issues/projects where analysis techniques are usedAdheres to prescribed methods for obtaining solutionsParticipates in design and implementation of new or changing processesParticipates in ad hoc projects, non-routine assignments and meetings as requested by the leadership teamReviews and evaluates software systems and solutions for potential useEducation:Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Data Science, or the equivalent combination of experience, skills, training, and educationTraining and Experience:At minimum, 2 years of coursework and/or working experience in a Business Technology or Information Technology settingAdvanced knowledge of the MS Office platform including VisioFamiliarity with standard technical analysis tools and techniquesPerforms well under pressure to meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEnthusiastic self-starter, with a go-getter attitude, who proactively takes on new tasksFlexible and willing to work as part of a teamStrong communication skills – written and verbalAnalytical, with meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Demonstrates ethical behavior and high degree of confidentiality.Self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and collaborative.Essential Intellectual Functions:The Technical Analyst must rely on business expertise, logic, and sound judgment to complete routine and non-routine projects, respond to, research and resolve routine and complex requests and questions, work collaboratively with colleagues, service partners and Altair management pertinent to execution of position responsibilities and demonstrate knowledge of and support Company vision and value statements, policies and procedures, privacy, security and confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior.Equipment Used: Individuals must be able to use standard company equipment and softwareThis position is temporary full-time (40 hours per week / 8 hours per day), and required to work onsite in Altair's Frisco, Texas office.Work/Physical Environment:Office setting and/or home office work environment. Team member must be able to operate standard office equipment.
