COMPANY OVERVIEW: This is a family office created to manage the wealth, investments and financial affairs for a high net-worth group. POSITION OVERVIEW: The family office Controller reports to the CFO This position is responsible for the accounting for multiple investment entities. This individual must own all the accounting functions, ensure financial controls are followed. RESPONSIBILITIES: Financial Accounting Perform full general ledger reconciliations and journal entries for multiple entities.Oversee personal household payroll, high-value asset bills, and unique family expenses. Financial Planning and reportingPrepare annual budgets and track actual spending to budget Treasury & Cash Flow ManagementEstablish rigid protocols for funding transfers to prevent fraudulent activities.Track cash balances of operating accounts to cover expenses. Tax Compliance & Advisory Coordination Organize flawless corporate books for external CPA firm and regulatory authorities.File regulatory compliance reports Risk Management & GovernanceSafeguard the absolute privacy, cyber security, and integrity of critical family wealth records.Ensure corporate, state licenses, and statutory filings remain continuously updated.Assess risk parameters to update comprehensive property, casualty, and liability insurance. PREFERRED PROFILE: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.At least 5-7 years of full-cycle accounting experience. Technical CompetenciesMastery of QuickBooks, Sage,Advanced Excel capability for cash flow forecasting and BudgetingClear comprehension of GAAP, trust accounting rules Behavioral AttributesUnwavering ability to manage sensitive, ultra-high-net-worth data with total confidentiality.Hyper-vigilant focus on tracking variances across multiple entities without dropping execution velocity.
