Warehouse Operator
Job Summary
The Warehouse & Operations Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the success of Northside's Agronomy and Grain businesses through organized warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, exceptional customer service, and seasonal operational support. This position is responsible for preparing products and seed for customers during the spring season while ensuring the warehouse remains safe, organized, and operating efficiently year-round. During grain harvest, the role transitions to supporting grain receiving and handling operations, providing a unique opportunity to develop skills across multiple areas of the business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in organization, and wants to make a meaningful impact in agriculture.
Key Responsibilities
· Year-round:
o Warehouse Ownership and Inventory
§ Manage seed inventory, including receiving, organizing, and tracking.
§ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Agronomy warehouse and work environment.
§ Receive, organize, stage, and store agronomy products.
§ Assist with inventory counts, product organization, and warehouse housekeeping.
· Spring:
o Seed Prep, Chem Prep, and Customer Service
§ Assist with product pickups, loading, and general operational support.
§ Prepare seed orders and assist with seasonal product staging and distribution.
§ Treat seed accurately according to customer orders and company quality standards.
§ Fill chemical totes and accurately repackage crop protection products.
§ Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting customers promptly, professionally, and safely.
· Fall:
o Grain Harvest Operations
§ Assist with soil sampling activities.
§ Operate truck scales, grain dryers, and grain handling equipment.
§ Sample incoming grain and accurately record transactions.
§ Load and unload grain trucks safely and efficiently.
§ Support grain receiving, storage, and shipment activities.
§ Perform housekeeping, equipment cleanouts, and general facility maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Job Requirements
· Certifications: Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and possess a satisfactory driving record.
· Technical Skills:
o Ability to lift, carry, and move sixty pounds.
o Comfort climbing, standing, bending, and working with hands.
o Proficient in the use of computer technology and other relevant tools.
· Soft Skills:
o Highly organized.
o Display a high degree of adaptability and flexibility.
o Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner with attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently and efficiently manage responsibilities.

Work Environment
· This role is primarily operations-focused. When not working within the warehouse, the role involves working outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
