You will have the chance to lead an experienced group of employees, build strong working relationships, and focus on continued improvement and development.As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play an important role in leading our warehouse team, maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and ensuring daily operations run efficiently and accurately. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory movement by monitoring WMS system. Monitors team members’ productivity and work quality and manages performance. Ensures compliance with all safety programs and ensures a strong culture of safety in the warehouse.Essential Job FunctionsDirect and control all functions within the facility by managing the workforce and ensuring a highly productive environment.Mentors team members through on-the-job training and coaching.Provides training and evaluation to equipment operators.Ensures the safety of employees while working.Involvement in employee relations to ensure proper disciplinary steps are taken as needed.Responds to customers’ inquiries about their orders and insure 100% customer satisfaction.Maintains a clean and organized warehouse.Communicates details on production directly to the Director of Warehousing and other shift leaders to ensure flow of production.Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Warehousing.Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance PolicyKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesKnowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving functions.Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including Microsoft Office suite.Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, fax and copy machine.Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Ability to maintain confidentiality.Education And ExperienceHigh school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills.3 Years of related experience.Experience working with powered industrial equipment.Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience preferred.D.O.T. and Logistics experience preferred.Experience in identifying operational issues, recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.Certco is an equal opportunity employer.
