We are assembling a high-agency team committed to moving fast, solving hard problems, and defending what matters most.Role OverviewAs an electrical test engineer, you’ll own the factory test automation specification anddesign for multiple electronic assemblies. Lead the design effort for PCBA bed of nails testfixtures, test racks, cable test infrastructure, and test automation software.You’ll play a critical role in developing robust manufacturing test processes andcontinuously improving product reliability in a mission-critical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwner of flight test and manufacturing ground support equipment.Develop and maintain manufacturing test stations for PCBA and Avionic subassembliesTroubleshoot test station failures and debug non-conformances through test stages and drive root cause analysisWork with software engineers to develop test software and oversee test software deployment and provisioningPrepare detailed test reports and support formal verification of the systemBasic QualificationsAbility to read and interpret PCBA schematics and use them to understand functionality and troubleshoot hardware.Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or similar disciplineExperience developing and documenting operating procedures and guidesExperience troubleshooting hardware/software issues and identifying root causes.Experience with measurement hardware and test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, analog and digital I/O, data acquisition systems, switch matrices, relay banks, and signal conditioning.Experience programming functional tests of hardware.Experience managing multiple Linux systems in a test environmentExperience with DVCS such as git.Preferred QualificationsProficient in scripting languages such as python and experience managing a test environment code baseExperience supporting a high volume and high reliability production lineExperience managing teams of test technicians operating test equipmentItar RequirementsTo conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
