Automotive Service Technician

Job OverviewWe are seeking skilled Automotive Service Technicians & Mechanics to join a busy and growing team in Tupelo. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair who are looking for steady, full-time work. Pay: $15+/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks) Repair or replace parts such as brakes, bearings, and sensors Work on engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems Document repairs and services completed Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Communicate findings and recommendations clearly QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of automotive repair experience preferred ASE certification is a plus Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in various physical positions Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
