Summary/Objective
The custodian maintains a clean working environment for all staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are safe.
Essential Functions
Daily:
Empty all trashcans (two times per day)
Clean all empty plastic drums; then, move to collection trailer
Clean all empty steel drums and pails; then, take to recycler
Move unneeded pallets to collection area
Clean and sweep (and, as needed, mop) all common areas, including:
Plant 2:
Walkways in Shipping Addition
Break room and Shipping office, including tables, fridge, microwave, etc.
Both restrooms, including sinks, toilets, etc.
Aisle way near current chemical storage area
Entry way near maintenance door/cage
Area in front of time clock/restroom
Plant 1:
Break room, including table, sink, fridge, microwave, etc.
Both restrooms, including sinks, toilets, etc.
Walkway between break area and maintenance area
Tow motor path/walkway between break area and burnishing line in front of docks
Refill coffee, sugar in both break rooms
Pick up garbage/debris outside of plants
Ensure that tools are on shadow boards
Replace water bottles in Plant 1 Weekly
Wipe down/clean all yellow guard rails
Wipe down/clean all permanently attached equipment in common areas in both plans (e.g., fire extinguishers, eye washes, front of electrical panels, cabinets, shadow boards, time clocks, etc.)
Clean interior windows Monthly
Power clean Shipping Addition floor (with motorized scrubber)
Clean outside windows
Wipe down/clean chemical storage racks
Clean all man doors and dock doors
