Position Type: Locum-to-PermanentWe are actively seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist for an exciting locum-to-permanent opportunity in New York State, near Warnerville. This is an excellent chance for a compassionate Neurology Physician interested in a dedicated outpatient practice setting, working primarily with adult patients and focusing on ALS care. Position Highlights Start Date: Beginning January 2025Practice Setting: Outpatient ALS-focused neurology officePatient Demographics: 100% adult, outpatient careDaily Patient Load: Expect to see an average of 6-7 patients per daySchedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour daysOn-Call and Weekend Requirements: NoneEMR System: Epic Requirements Licensure: Active New York State medical license requiredBoard Certification/Eligibility: Neurology, Palliative Care, Hospice, Physiatry, or Internal Medicine with ALS experienceCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)Special Experience: ALS expertise is a key requirement for this roleCompensation: Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications, with a conversion fee cap of $25k for a transition to permanent Reimbursements and Support Travel Assistance: Facility will cover hotel accommodations and rental car expenses for the duration of the assignment.Credentialing Fees: Please note, application and credentialing fees are not reimbursed.
