If you love working and playing with kids, then this would be a position for you to make a lot of positive impact. Even better if you love soccer and or are looking to work in the medical field, but this is secondary, so don't stress if you've never kicked a ball. This role blends hands-on instruction for children ages 1to 12 with key responsibilities in marketing, sales, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is passionate about youth development, highly organized, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a dynamic enrichment environment.Key Responsibilities & RequirementsOur ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, nanny, youth leader, or camp leader), and genuinely enjoys children. This position is excellent for someone who has an interest in pursuing early childhood education, or child development. We offer training on the job, a flexible schedule, and incentive programs.Age Requirements: Must be at least 18 years oldEducational Requirements: High school diploma with some college (preferred)Transportation: You must hold a valid driver's license , and a reliable personal vehicle as you could find yourself working at multiple locations in a day.Schedule: The ideal candidate would be available most Monday to Saturday mornings and/or afternoons .Location: Classes are held at schools, daycares, pre-schools, parks, and recreational centers across Dallas County . Depending on the location of the coach's primary residence, they may be required to travel up to an hour to get to a class location .Youth Instruction & Program DeliveryLead engaging, age-appropriate enrichment classes for children ages 1 to12Create a safe, inclusive, and fun learning environmentImplement curriculum and adapt activities based on age and skill levelManage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniquesCommunicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and experiencesVery energetic and nurturing personalityLots of patience and understanding of how to instruct young childrenYou bring lots of energy and a personality that kids just love to be aroundBeing punctual and organized is part of lifeAbility to work with kids ranging from 12 months to 12 years old independentlyDemonstrates a history of integrity, doing what is right even when nobody is lookingWillingness to be silly (even at the expense of embarrassing yourself)Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personalityKnowledge of soccer fundamentals is a plus but not requiredKnowledge of the medical field is a plus but not requiredAbility to lead groups and engage both parents and childrenCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Federal and National background checks requiredOur coaches...can work up to 20 plus hours a weekuse individual attention to ensure every child has successuse a non-competitive and creative approach to ensure classes are fun with a stress-free environmentuse positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate successare open-minded and know that coaching is a continuous journeyare open to feedback and strive to be better by attending regular training and following instructor Manualsembody an active lifestyleare an ambassador for our company and its valuesknow how to have fun and keep kids engagedAbout the Company: Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience.
