The Dean will also be tasked with deepening integration with the Department of Nursing and the Department of Academic Practice Nursing, driving interprofessional collaboration, and serving as a strong advocate for the College. A critical part of the role is to ensure long-term institutional vitality by strengthening faculty pipelines, mentoring emerging leaders, and building the necessary structures for sustained programmatic and organizational continuity. The ideal candidate will have an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field, Illinois RN licensure or the ability to obtain it, a distinguished scholarly record, and a proven track record in securing external research funding.
