Job description TN Americas, a subsidiary of Orano USA, is a leader of the American nuclear dry storage market. The company offers a complete line of products and related services to the transportation, storage, and engineering sectors operating in the fuel cycle materials market. TN Americas is seeking a Project Manager for our Columbia, MD, location with at least 10 years of experience in the nuclear industry to lead the planning, execution, and oversight of complex transportation projects involving nuclear materials, used nuclear fuel, and radioactive waste. Under broad supervision, this position is responsible for securing and managing transportation services utilizing our product line of packages, containers, casks, and equipment. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory, logistical, supply chain, and technical considerations related to the safe and compliant transport of nuclear materials. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, customer-focused, and capable of managing cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes from proposal development through contract closeout. This role also requires a deep understanding of the planning and execution of technical Feasibility Studies and consultancy reports, Demonstrated experience in multimodal transportation within the Canada market a strong plus. Major Duties and Responsibilities Provides project leadership for major commercial design, fabrication of packages, licensing and transportation projects, plus on-site operations. Develops proposals in response to customer request and secure contract awards in alignment with company goals. Coordinates closely with engineering, licensing, and operations teams to ensure timely and compliant project execution. Prepares project plans/schedules/materials to achieve project quality, reliability, cost and timing objectives. Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction, addressing concerns proactively and building long-term relationships to drive customer engagement and business growth. Serves as the primary point of contact for customers, internal stakeholders, and third-party service providers throughout the duration of the project. Utilizes approved project management methods and processes to execute medium risk projects of existing technology and methods to meet client needs and expectations. Develops assignments, timetables and responsibilities for team members for the duration of the project. Coordinates multiple project activities including organizing and directing personnel, materials and equipment; utilizes team building skills to ensure satisfactory project performance. Defines and forecasts needed skills to meet project objectives. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position. BS Degree in Engineering/Eng Tech, Proj Mgmt, or related technical field. Min. 10 years of experience in the nuclear industry, preferably with project management experience involving multimodal nuclear material transport (Canada market experience a strong plus) Proven track record of managing complex projects dealing with many stakeholders nationally and internationally. Excellent knowledge of major PM plan development, implementation & admin including sector and project processes, procedures & tools; safety. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of staff & management. Excellent working knowledge of PC-based applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint). Excellent report development and presentation skills.
