Accounts Receivable Specialist Leading Jewelry Manufacturing Company Attleboro, MA ? $23 $28 per hour | Full-Time (40 hours/week)Marathon Company is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing billing, collections, and cash application processes while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong customer communication. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounts receivable and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies and maintaining account health.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle incoming calls and direct them appropriatelyPerform billing, collections, and reporting activities in line with deadlinesMonitor accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, and other irregularitiesFollow up with customers to collect outstanding balancesResearch and resolve payment discrepancies and customer inquiriesMaintain accurate accounts receivable records and customer filesReview AR aging reports to ensure timely collections and complianceProcess and allocate payments (cash, checks, credit cards)Process account adjustments as neededCommunicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondenceAssist the Controller with ad hoc reporting and accounting tasksQualifications35 years of accounts receivable and/or general accounting experienceAssociate degree in Accounting or related field (required)Strong understanding of AR processes, billing, and collectionsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordExperience with accounting or ERP systems preferredKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOrganizational and time management skillsProblem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgencyTeam-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skillsBenefits401(k) with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life insurancePaid time off and paid sick timeEmployee discountAdditional InformationSchedule: Monday Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, full-timeWork Location: In person (Attleboro, MA)Language: English requiredApply today to join a growing team and contribute to a dynamic accounting operation! 10170883
