Location: On site at location listed in job posting.OverviewThe Senior Banking Strategy Consultant Lead supports-and when appropriate, leads-high-impact initiatives across the Regional Bank portfolio. The focus is on structuring work, aligning stakeholders, communicating crisply with executives, and driving execution discipline.Key responsibilitiesStrategy development and execution: Translate strategic priorities into clear roadmaps with scope, milestones, and success metrics; manage interdependencies and surface risks with options.Portfolio and program leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives that enable growth, efficiency, and client experience improvements; ensure strong governance and change management.Executive communications and governance: Produce board- and executive-ready materials (monthly updates, decision memos, performance narratives) that distill complex inputs into clear recommendations.Market and competitive intelligence: Curate and interpret market, competitor, and internal insights to inform priorities for the Regional Bank and specific lines of business.Operating model and process improvement: Partner with associates and functional leaders to identify bottlenecks, redesign processes, and embed continuous improvement practices that accelerate business flow.Data-informed decision enablement: Leverage available analyses to extract practical insights that shape actions, forecasts, and prioritization-focusing on relevance and impact over exhaustive analytics.Stakeholder leadership: Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and key partners (Product, LOBs, CIO/Technology, Finance, Risk); anticipate needs, align on outcomes, and drive accountability.Strategic plan documentation and cadence: Maintain and refresh the strategic plan, objectives, and metrics; ensure alignment with corporate processes, timelines, and reporting standards.What success looks likeTangible business outcomes delivered on time and within scope.Concise recommendations that enable rapid, high-quality executive decisions.Strong adoption of new capabilities and processes by associates and our clients.Proactive risk, dependency, and change-impact management.Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree* A minimum of 5-8 years of financial analytic experience with a management consulting firm or in a financial services' strategic environmentPreferred QualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to effectively gather and interpret large data setsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable supporting and delivering executive level presentationsDemonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to effectively multi-task and manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office suite; advanced skills with PowerPoint, Excel, and WordAbout UsFirst Horizon Corporation is a leading regional financial services company, dedicated to helping our clients, communities and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel.
