Territory Sales Representative - Grocery / CPG (Food Broker)Territory: Greater Boston, MA & Southern New HampshireField-Based | Grocery / Supermarket SalesIdeal for candidates with grocery, food broker, or CPG retail sales experiencePosition OverviewThe Territory Sales Representative - Grocery / CPG (Food Broker) is responsible for managing approximately 200 supermarket locations within an assigned territory. This field-based sales role focuses on strengthening relationships with store managers, department managers, and category buyers while driving product distribution, merchandising, and promotional execution.You will play a key role in helping brands grow shelf presence, increase sales velocity, and execute retail programs at store level.The role reports to the Retail Lead and participates in weekly virtual team meetings via Microsoft Teams.Key ResponsibilitiesTerritory ManagementConduct regular in-store sales visits across assigned supermarketsManage relationships with store managers, department managers, and category buyersEnsure strong retail merchandising, product placement, and display executionSales & Distribution GrowthPresent new products and line extensions to storesSecure product distribution and additional shelf placementDrive secondary displays, promotions, and POS materialsRetail Execution & ReportingPerform store audits and merchandising checks using GoSpotCheckTrack product placement, displays, and promotional activityCommunicate opportunities, competitive insights, and store feedbackCollaboration & Brand SupportPartner with brand principals and internal sales leadershipParticipate in ride-alongs with clients and team membersSupport territory sales strategy and category growth initiativesQualificationsRequired ExperienceExperience in CPG sales, grocery sales, or food broker salesExperience working with supermarket chains or grocery retailersCategory exposure preferred: meat, deli, dairy, grocery, bakery, or frozen foodsSkills & AttributesStrong relationship-building and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilitiesHighly organized with strong time and territory managementComfortable working independently in a field-based sales roleProficient with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and retail reporting toolsProfessional, resilient, and solutions-orientedAdditional RequirementsReliable transportation requiredAbility to travel throughout Greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire
