What You'll Do
Accounting & Financial Management
Manage day-to-day accounting activities
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Financial Analysis
Develop and maintain accurate job costing for installation projects
Monitor project profitability and gross margins
Identify trends and opportunities to improve profitability
Operations & Process Improvement
Evaluate current workflows and recommend improvements
Develop and document standard operating procedures
Improve operational efficiency across departments
Help implement systems that increase accountability and visibility
Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives and business planning
Assist with software implementation and process automation where appropriate
Leadership & Collaboration
Work closely with ownership and department leaders
Serve as a trusted resource for financial and operational decision-making
Help create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong accounting knowledge with operational thinking.
Ideal qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations
Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, and financial reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel proficiency
Ability to improve processes rather than simply maintain them
Strong organizational and communication skills
High integrity and attention to detail
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits and performance incentives.
