Electrical Engineer
Position Overview:A mid-level Electrical Engineer is needed to design and support electrical systems for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The role involves handling power, lighting, and low-voltage systems, ensuring designs meet regulatory standards (GMP), and working across all project phases—from concept to construction. Ideal candidates have AEC/design experience, can manage multiple projects, collaborate with teams, and support both fieldwork and junior staff.Responsiblities:Lead electrical design for pharma projects (power, lighting, grounding, and special systems)Ensure code compliance with NFPA, IESNA, UL, OSHA, and IEEE standardsManage projects across all phases: design, construction documents, and construction administrationPerform electrical calculations and develop technical documentationHandle troubleshooting and production support for electrical and electromechanical systemsManage component obsolescence and end-of-life strategies (including PCB-level considerations)Support cable/harness design and integration within manufacturing systemsDrive documentation updates and change control (ECRs, ECOs, verification & validation)Collaborate cross-functionally with clients, vendors, and construction teamsReview and respond to RFIs, submittals, and punch lists during construction phasesConduct field support activities, including site visits and issue resolutionWork within GMP-regulated environments ensuring compliance and quality standardsMentor junior engineers and support quality review processesQualifications:0-10 years experience Regulated environmentExperience in circuit board designMed device background is must.
