With sales and service locations throughout the world, and over 100 years of battery experience, EnerSys is the power/full solution for stored DC power products.Learn More About Energy SystemsJob PurposeThe Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for driving EnerSys’ growth by providing technical and commercial sales coverage for integrated DC power, energy storage, and lifecycle service solutions across assigned markets and territories. This role serves as the frontline technical-sales interface with customers, EPCs, OEMs, integrators, and channel partners, enabling solution-led selling and positioning EnerSys to win system-level opportunities rather than component-only sales.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupport system-level selling of DC plants, batteries, enclosures, monitoring, and lifecycle servicesTranslate customer requirements into technical solution concepts aligned with EnerSys and Alpha portfoliosEngage customers, EPCs, integrators, and OEMs in application, specification, and architecture discussionsAssist senior sales leaders with opportunity qualification, proposals, and deal progressionCoordinate with Applications Engineering on complex or custom system designsMaintain opportunity activity and contribute to accurate forecastingCollaborate with Product Management, Operations, and Services on customer solutionsSuccess Measures (KPIs)Revenue growth contribution within assigned markets or territoriesGrowth in system-level and solution-based opportunitiesQuantity and quality of technical customer engagementsResponsiveness and effectiveness of technical sales supportInternal and external stakeholder satisfactionCore CompetenciesTechnical sales and solution positioningSystem architecture and requirements translationCustomer and partner engagementCross-functional collaborationTerritory and opportunity managementProblem-solving in field and project environmentsQualificationsEducation:Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)Experience:5+ years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or solution-based sellingExperience with DC power systems, energy storage, UPS, or related industrial power technologiesOther RequirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAbility to travel within assigned territory as requiredFlexible schedule to support customer needsValid driver’s licenseCompliance with all EnerSys safety, ethics, and conduct policiesGeneral Job RequirementsThis position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company’s driving requirements.
