Apply now to see what it means to us and what it's like to work somewhere your voice is heard, your wellness is a priority, and your success matters.Job Title: Child Crisis TherapistEmployment Type: Full-time, 40 hours/weeksScheduled Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5PM, two evenings per week 11:30AM-8PMProgram/Location: CT Hope, Willimantic, CTAbout the Position: Child Crisis TherapistDuties & ResponsibilitiesProvides crisis assessment, outreach, and follow up to monitor status of clients in crisis.Documents ongoing client progress and outcomesDemonstrates competency in age related or specialty issues and developmental needs for each population served.Works with clients to develop appropriate discharge plans utilizing natural supports.Maintains collaborative relationships with family members and other service providersPerforms home and community-based care.Responsible for Maintaining Client and Staff Records According to Agency PolicyParticipates in weekly supervision and meetings to review client and program progress.QualificationsEducation: Master's Degree or higher in mental health fieldExperience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience working with serious emotional disorders and their families. Demonstrated training and experience in assessment, crisis evaluation and de-escalation of crisis situations.
