At Intervala, we combine advanced technology, engineering expertise, and a collaborative culture to ensure reliability, flexibility, and exceptional customer service.Job Summary & Essential FunctionsEstablish, maintain and improve manufacturing processes and systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process.Organize, implement and maintain production processesDevelop assembly instructions, workmanship standards and process documents, and ensure they are followedContinually improve existing operations, for increased quality, productivity, efficiency and cost savingsConduct root cause analysis and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement and for resolutions to manufacturing problems including processes, machines, or programming problemsLiaise with production planner/scheduler for ensuring the released assemblies have adequate programs, documentation and processesProvide manufacturing data to monitor and measure progress to targetWork with design engineering on DFX (design for excellence) to include:Design for costDesign for testDesign for manufacturabilityDesign for assemblyLiaise with suppliers on manufacturing processesResearch and justify new manufacturing technology to reduce costs, improve quality and increase capacityProgram manufacturing and inspection equipmentAdhere to General Requirements of Team MembersKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge circuit card manufacturing and assembly processes together with work measurement and work standardsIntermediate knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Design of ExperimentsKnowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001Technical writing and documentation skillsAnalytical skills including research, trend analysis, data analysis, and presentation of data through charts and graphsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, and small printAdvanced level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook)Ability to effectively communicate in all forms with others inside and outside the organizationAbility to plan, resolve problems effectively and establish prioritiesAbility to multitask efficiently and adapt within a rapidly changing environmentRequired Experience & EducationBachelor's degree in a related technical field with seven years' work experience, related technical associate degree with nine years of work experience, or high school diploma with a minimum of twelve years of relevant work experience requiredPrevious experience in an electronic and/or electromechanical manufacturing environmentPrevious experience in an ISO-9000, 13485 or AS-9000 environmentPrevious experience with circuit card assembly SMT processes and equipment including programming, setup and operationWhy You'll Love Working HereCompetitive pay and great benefits- including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time offBe part of a company that's growing, changing, and full of new opportunitiesA supportive, team-focused culture where your ideas matterMeaningful work that impacts industries making a difference in the worldEqual Opportunity EmployerIntervala, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in our workforce.
