Mid-Level Java Developer

We are looking for a *Mid-Level Java Developer* to join our development team and contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with *Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and modern software development practices*. This is a hands-on development role working closely with other software engineers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality applications. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and backend services. * Develop scalable and maintainable applications using *Java and Spring Boot*. * Build and integrate *RESTful APIs and web services*. * Work with relational databases and write efficient *SQL queries*. * Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. * Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders. * Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and maintainable code. * Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. * Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely technical solutions. * Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and testing methodologies. Required Qualifications * *2+ years of professional software development experience*. * Strong hands-on experience with *Java 8+*. * Experience developing applications using *Spring Framework / Spring Boot*. * Strong understanding of *REST APIs and web services*. * Experience with *SQL and relational databases* such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. * Good understanding of *Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and design patterns*. * Experience with *Git* and modern software development workflows. * Familiarity with *unit testing* frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito. * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. * Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with *microservices architecture*. * Experience with *Spring Security*. * Knowledge of *Kafka or other messaging systems*. * Experience with *Docker and Kubernetes*. * Familiarity with *AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms*. * Experience with CI/CD tools such as *Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps*. * Exposure to frontend technologies such as *React or Angular* is a plus. Education * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
