The job description also lists the Physical and Mental Requirements for the position.Typical QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSExperienceSix (6) years of progressively responsible experience in safety administration within an electric utility, water utility, or closely related industry.Public sector experience preferred.Experience leading tailboards, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and emergency operations procedures.Experience working directly with or supporting field crews, demonstrating credibility and a strong understanding of operational work groups.Education/Licenses/CertificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, Public Administration, or a related field. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate degree and eight (8) years of experience in safety administration within an electric utility, water utility, or closely related industry may be substituted.Driving is an essential function of this position.
