Shift Lead, Assembly

Direct and lead shift as directed by GFL Supervisor, prepare work schedules, and workflow to promote continuous improvements.Lead by example in all areas: attendance, attitude, efficiency, communication, productivity, housekeeping, safety, and commitment, etc.Assign duties as directed by the GFL Supervisor and examine department work for quality and neatness. Enforce conformance to work policies and procedures.Able to perform duties in the Assembly and Pre-Assembly departments and assist others in the form of training and support.Collect and record data and train other individuals in the department in the collection of data, which may be used to assist quality control, identify scrap or aid in any other continuous improvement projects.Assist the GFL Supervisor in monitoring manpower, overtime, scrap, and expendables.Assist the GFL Supervisor in the achievement of departmental goals, both long term and on-going daily goals.Offer feedback and recommendations for improvements to help fix problems that may occur in the Assembly/Pre-Assembly area.Assist with the housekeeping in the Assembly/Pre-Assembly area. Keep the immediate work area clean.Assist in taking inventory as necessary.Work overtime as business needs require.
