Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems including engines, transmissions, drivability, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC
Perform advanced diagnostics using manufacturer-specific and electronic diagnostic tools
Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to repair orders and manufacturer standards
Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality and safety
Communicate diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and technical guidance to Service Advisors
Assist with mentoring and supporting entry-level and experienced technicians as needed
Complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Stay current on manufacturer updates, technical service bulletins, and evolving automotive technologies

Qualifications
Previous automotive dealership experience required
ASE Master Technician certification preferred (or equivalent manufacturer certifications)
Strong expertise in advanced diagnostics and complex repairs
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
Ability to operate advanced electronic diagnostic equipment
Basic computer proficiency
Team-oriented, professional attitude with leadership capability
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces
Strong fine and gross motor skills for operating tools and equipment
Ability to work in varying lighting conditions and with digital screens
