Production SupervisorOur client, an Automotive Manufacturing company, is looking for a Production Supervisor for their Spring Hill, TN location.Responsibilities:The main function of a production supervisor is to supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers.Recommend measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personal grievances.Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.Requirements:Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage one's time.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.Education Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree nice to have (do not prefer candidates with high school diploma)Years of experience at least 3-5 years' experienceWants to see stability on a resumeWants to see experience in people leading 3-5 yearsUAW/union experience is a nice to have6Sigma or other problem-solving certificates is a nice to haveFaced pace environment/automotive background is nice to have **automotive background is a huge plus**Manufacturing experiencePeople leading experience 3-5 yearsAssociate's DegreeA lot of interaction with a lot of people throughout their shift, interacting with the whole team (30 people)Specific Responsibilities of this Position: standard Client group leader in trim shopWork Site Description: spring hill assembly vehicle trimThis is general assembly positionWhy Should You Apply?Health BenefitsReferral ProgramExcellent growth and advancement opportunitiesICONMA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
