Job Responsibilities
Need To Be Strong on WebSphere 8.5 and 9.0 version
Knowledge/Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 5+ years on web middleware and in-depth knowledge of industry-standard web middleware technologies.
Strong knowledge on Middleware Solutions ( Weblogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, Apache, IIS).
Strong knowledge on UNIX, Wintel operating systems
• Strong background on the Unix with scripting (Unix Shell, perl, phyton,)
Strong knowledge of security and Risk Configuration.
Experience on Cloud Technology support is a plus
Skills:
Strong knowledge on Middleware Solutions (e.g. Java/J2EE, Weblogic, .Net, Web Logic, MQ, Websphere, SUN One Web, IIS, Siteminder, LDAP, security).
Strong knowledge on UNIX, Wintel, Aix operating systems
Strong background on the Unix with scripting (ssh, Shell, perl) with various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Build a high-performance production support team with the right talent mix to exceed client expectations
Be responsible for problem management including managing outages, resolution, co-ordination with stakeholders and communication
Ensure control processes are in place in alignment with client policies
Provide 24x7 on call problem resolution
Support Engineering and Business projects.
Review request for changes (Business and Functional requirements, etc).
Troubleshoot to determine root cause of problems in Production environments
Pro-active analysis and monitoring of Production applications
Implement workarounds and temporary fixes
Perform Application and Middleware logs analysis
End-end Incident tracking and client follow-up, including post-mortem
Work with 3rd level support (Product owner, application owner or Vendor) to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Define and execute Contingency plans for applications (COB)
EOL, EOS Track and fulfilment
Participate on Technical Audit review
Support Engineering architecture definitions
Provide support to Capacity Planning and Performance Management teams
Coordinate Middleware Installations.
