Senior Network AdministratorWe are looking for a senior Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation. The candidate would have 7+ years of infrastructure administration and 5+ years of experience in network administration preferably using Cisco products.Must Have:5+ years of route/switch experienceCNAAbility to work in a team atmosphereCCNA required, CCNP or CCIE preferred, PCNSA or PCNSE preferredAbility to perform upgrades on Cisco IOS and NXOS platformsProven experience in a network administrator roleHands on experience in networking, routing and switchingIT background with enfaces on Cisco networkingResponsibilities:Design and deploy new network equipment in IMS West data centersAssist end users with issues or requestsIdentifying issues as they ariseFully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate routers, switches, load balancers and firewallsInstall and integrate new network hardware and appliancesSupport and administer third-party data feedsEnsure network security and connectivityMonitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknessesResearch and make recommendations on network system administrationSpecify system requirements and design solutions
